In Södra Vi, we manufacture die-cast aluminum components for the automotive industry in a modern and highly automated environment where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are the focus.

As summer approaches, we are now looking for summer workers who want to work as operators in both foundry and maintenance and become a part of our operations in Södra Vi.

About the role as an operator

As a summer worker with us, you will work in production alongside experienced colleagues. Depending on placement and shifts, you will work either in the foundry or in the maintenance department. The work is varied, practical, and technical, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and collaboration.

Your tasks may include:

• Monitoring and handling production equipment

• Handling and inspecting parts

• Basic maintenance and service tasks

• Sorting, packing, and documentation according to applicable instructions

• Reporting deviations, risks, and improvement suggestions

• Collaboration with other departments to ensure a stable production flow

You will be introduced to our working methods and receive support to quickly adapt to the role.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is responsible, meticulous, and has a positive attitude towards working in an industrial environment. You enjoy working in a team but can also take individual responsibility when required. Previous experience in industry, foundry, production, or maintenance is a plus but not a requirement; the most important thing is your willingness to learn and contribute.
